From what I saw the same 4 vehicles were used on the 84 all day today, they were 4489, 4172, 4156 and 2609 (on a very late 1135 ex Crewe). Driver told me that the traffic was queing for several miles at Tarporley and between Tarvin & Chester, giving delays of about 30 minutes. He did say that 2609 had replaced 4215 which had broken down on its way to crewe.

I guess the traffic between Tarvin and Vicars Cross on the approach to Chester will have played havoc with the schedules today. Did anyone see anything else on the 84 today?
