That figures, I was going to suggest that they're all being made up in the same place, probably by the same person. Your pic https://flic.kr/p/nz4LZ7 shows how badly the new plates have been made up on the Enviro400's compared to the correctly spaced plates on the Gemini.
The Bangor Pulsars are the same, you're right, it's all a bit amateurish
