If this is the full extent off Arriva's plan then it will invariably be a commercial failure. Admittedly, I have not socialised in the city centre after the last normal service since the N55 was withdrawn about three years ago but I cannot believe that there is not a demand for the likes of the N20, N55, N79, N82, N86 and N350 to be re-instated for the festive period. As for reintroducing the Wirral night bus services, that is a no-brainer.

Slightly off topic, if Arriva were to offer discounted fares for passengers in possession of Arriva weekly, monthly or annual tickets, I think these services could survive beyond the Christmas period.
