Just read this on the Echo - it will be interesting to see what happens here with so many people potentially reliant on national train services from Lime Street. Obviously the impact on Merseyrail could also be enormous, but it isn't the be all and end all for local people as they can make alternative arrangements - which will no doubt stretch the bus services beyond their planned potential?
