On the #84's (Chester) were 2618/4100/4105/4179.

The shorts to Nantwich were being worked by 4106/4216 only 4106 was broken down at the side of the road between Crewe and Wilaston from at least 14:00. As far as I know nothing was working in place of 4106. The service (at least for an hour or two) was running a bus down.

Spare at Crewe was Dart 894 and this disappeared in the afternoon but I don't think it went onto the #84 short.

Cadet 2447 was out on the #8... Not to bad for ride quality for this ageing Cadet but it smelled like sick!

On the #6's were 679 & 702.

On the #31/31A/37's were 2267/2501/2608/2614.

The only #38 observed yesterday was being worked by 4460.

4460 is a Speke bus
