It would appear that Bootle will be taking over the 157/8 in April. Having just travelled on it I'd love to know what vehicles it will be using. In the past it used Dennis Darts but since they have all been withdrawn, the shortest vehicles it has are Pulsars. The current operator, Cumfybus, uses short-
wheelbase Solos that can just about squeeze through the parked vehicles on Ford Lane
