I do realise they are different services specifically the Crank and Ormskirk differences but wasn't as sure on the routes in Rainford itself, maybe the 38A option would be better than? Whatever funding the 152 managed to get for the Ormskirk extension could just be transferred across?

Could the Crank section not even be lost? The 157 will remain between Rainford and Crank which does mean Crank Road loses its service but from what I remember it's mostly surrounded by fields isn't it. As for the Dentons Green area could this not be covered by the 137/138?
