After 17501 lots its roof to a bridge, 17591 was cast in. This only lasted a couple of hours before breaking down and hasn't been on the road since due to fuel issues. Its been repaired and repainted but is awaiting an MOT. As a result of this 17549 was cast in until the end of the contract. Out of the above, 549 is the only one still in London condition. 494/527/575 are now converted to part opentop and single door conversion and are with City Sightseeing Stratford upon Avon. 17501 still resides in Rock Ferry undergoing a proper open top conversion.
