They are ordinary "old" Enviro200s.

The MMC part of the Stagecoach order doesn't start delivery until October - and even then it's in Scotland!

Thanks MB, now I know I can keep to other areas nearby, and have the new MMCs to look forward to somewhere next year instead!

It seems 16833 and 16839 have been acquired by Teesside-based independent Stagecarriage.

16833 has been purchased by Stagecarriage from Stagecoach via Ensignbus (though it was collected directly from Stagecoach at Sunderland's Wheatsheaf depot.
16839 was also included, however it has since reportedly been sold on to Drew Wilson Coach Sales.

17028 has returned to Stockton following repaint however it is presently sat inside.

Noted 19194 in service for Walkergate on service 38 today (Wednesday). 19197 was on X34 so still at SS.

I have noted a couple of SS saloons in Newcastle this week, both showing "Sorry, not in service" and not likely to have been on service X34 unless the drivers were seriously lost! They were 37302 on Monday afternoon and 36466 on Wednesday evening. I was wondering whether Slatyford and/or Walkergate had them for evaluation or type training. Does anyone have more info about this ?

New Enviro300s 27238-40 (SN65 OBY/Z, OCA) have arrived at Stockton and entered service in the last few days (27238 on Tuesday on 52/35, 27239 on Wednesday on 36/37 and 27240 yesterday on the 52 before being taken off and later ending up on the 58/35).

The rest of the batch, 27241-54 (SN65 OCB-H/J-M/O/P/R) are in the process of delivery with 27241/2/4/51/2/3 confirmed as being delivered. These wear a Stockton version of the 'Connecting the Dots' branding, as used at South Shields depot on their new Enviro200s, for services 52 (Stockton-Billingham Low Grange), 58 (Stockton-Hardwick), 59 (Stockton-North Tees Hospital/Summerville Farm Tesco) and 61 (Stockton-Elton Park) however 27253 has been spotted on delivery in normal livery unlike its delivered sister which arrived branded. The first examples will enter service on Monday (14th September) with a launch in Stockton next Friday.
