2493 is on the 356 board BBB. 2324 is on a day board with either 2492 or 2494 on the other.

Whilst mentioning 2493, it's vastly improved since the last time I rode it and one thing I noted that they've done is to screw the rear destination cover shut which has removed the rattling that comes from it on all of the Cadets. Very pleasant ride with no idle vibrations as previously noted.

356 board is the 38 at the following times leaving St Helens:
06.34 (starting in Rainford), 07.55, 09.25, 10.55, 12.25, 13.55, 15.25, 16.55 then as the 18.35 356.

I'm fairly certain they tried to run it commercially! What with the 194/195 covering the route anyway, there'd be no reason for Merseytravel to operate it as a tender.
