Wish they'd make their mind up regarding 7622 though.

What's the latest on the extra bit of land across the road from the depot?

works undergoing on the land jan 8th is apparently the finish date now

2561 was never broken down it was the bus that killed that lady in platt bridge you might be thinking of 2464 that is on the road now, i also agree on 7622 but its starting to look less likely its going on the road with the marshalls now on their way out

Do you know when the new deckers are due?

Also, I notice 2251 has an interburban middle front panel, is this off 7552 or 7556? Looks odd anyway.....

apparently in the next 3 weeks but i will hold back on that until am able to contact a driver there, i did notice 2251 like that a while back, the only bus it can be of is 7556 as 7552 remained at manchester until barnsley picked it up

right here we go

one of the new deckers will come feb 1st for drivers to platy around with the others should follow that 2-3 weeks later with them going into service early march

theres a notice in the depot saying the land is expected to be finished by 12th jan

also school deckers are going to runcorn for 2 weeks the first few should of left today and the rest following monday

Is the new parking area going to be for parking of the school fleet?
Glad they are off to Runcorn for the hols, noticed that a lot of the fleet is parked on the road at the moment.

thats the reason behind the deckers going am told, the extra yard is for schools but i expect a few of the solos to be parked on there as well

That part of the route is always really busy at any time of the day! If it does have less passenger numbers than planned then it's probably because of the 658 going the same way there too, and the 630 going partially the same way as well. :O

School Deckers are in service til March, by which time the new Deckers will have arrived. 'Older Deckers' presumably DLAs are getting work done with a view to use them to replace all step entrance deckers.
