RE: First Manchester
It looks will BN will soon have no B9's left, its a shame some can't be used for the 582.

BY use the B9's on the 163/471/135. I wonder what the next batch will be used on.

Couldn't the old bendies be used to replace Olympians on school runs?

QS is due some new single deckers as well.

Well 37406 was swapped with 37430 as that is now being repainted into some form of Bolton corporation transport livery. They used 37430 as that was an early Olympia repaint.

News is that BN will have to buses painted into some form of Bolton and Salford corporation livery, no idea On the other bus. Only 37430 transferred from Bury. Not been able to confirm If 37409 is still at Bury or gone back to Bolton

Also Bury will also have two buses painted apparently into Bury and Ramsbottam corporation livery

37397
37402
37405
37407
37408
37409
37410
37415
37416
37430

Only query is 37409 of the above allocation at BN

Occasionally BN do use some of the B9s on 582 37405 and 7 were on it on Sunday

RE: First Manchester
Bendies on schools is a bad idea, very large vehicles and tigt school routes. Bendies should be scrapped, no routes go under low bridges that require the extra seats. They seem to be used on the 135 for the novelty of it...

Couldn't agree more there, its been said many times that Bury Depot management were thinking of taking them off the 135s as they block up the city centre, but they never do. The 471s see to suite them better

RE: First Manchester
I do agree with the statement regarding bendies blocking the City Center, you only have to have either one break down on the 135 stand on Lever Street or already have a bus on that stand and when another one comes in it has to use the next stand up which didn't use to be a problem until recently when Stagecoach's 80/112 were moved from Stephenson Square to Lever Street and now that stand is busier than ever now so there's only the odd times when there's no buses on that stand so the 135 bendies have to find somewhere else to drop passengers off when that stand is full
