First Manchester
RE: First Manchester
I am on the way to the Middleton area today. Any sightings of the Oldham Darts would be appreciated especially on the #415.

Thanks in advance

first oldham have also received two heritage painted buses, a B7 in beige and brown and a beige and blue B9

I know Olympians can get used on the X84 in the afternoons, not seen it on the 184 for a while. There was Enviro300 on the 184 today, which was a bit of a surprise to see.

The B7 is painted in Oldham Corporation colours and is 66869.

The B9 is 37451 and painted in Rochdale Corporation colours. Was out on the 181 today.

Pioneer's has to be a B9 because First are not going to change policy for the repaints.

RE: First Manchester
I am pleased about some Marshalls coming to Manchester. I had noticed that the fleet at ex-Pioneer Dukinfield had been quite elderly so these can replace earlier Pointers.

According to the Heysham Docks thread some Streetlites are coming here after all. Whether for Queen's Road or current Finglands routes is unclear though.

Just one thing that has puzzled me for a while. I occasionally ride ex-Olympics Enviro400s on route 22, and the seats do not smell entirely pleasant. I have not noticed this on other buses with this new grey leather. So I wonder why this is?

Yes a percentage of streetlites will remain for QS the order with Wrights was for QS and they have manchester depot stickers on. The rest still remain linked with First Hampshire until that changes. As for Finglands this is still connected to some Eclipse 2s from FWY coming over but that's unclear

RE: First Manchester
Sounds exciting.

Some deckers will be needed for the busy Finglands 41 service.
