Actually, as First are planning to divest other operations in the Midlands, such as Northampton which is just about in the east Midlands, this could be a good candidate for Wellglade!

I wouldn't mind seeing TM Travel taking over FSY too, but that really is unrealistic!

The latest Solar out the paintshop is 671 which is in the "you told us" livery. It is based at the Sutton depot.

Former Lothian decker 35 is now in Notts and Derby livery.

All of the former Allestree Solos are now in service with TM Travel, with the exception of 462, which is currently being repaired after a mishap with Red Arrow coach 69 earlier on in the year. The full list of Solos that have transfered to TM Travel from Trent Barton in recent weeks, courtesy of the Derby Bus Depot:

Threes branded Optare Versa 826 had a electrical fire whilst at the Sutton Junction depot a few weeks ago. It's reported to have been replaced by Optare with a brand new bus, although it hasn't yet arrived.

A couple of the Mickleover Volvos have had the new vinyls applied (see here) ahead of the official launch on Saturday.

Mango Volvo 727 has had its trent barton logo moved from the top right of the windscreen to below it, in the same way as the new style spares. See here.

Former Rainbow 4 Solar 670 has appeared at Derby in the new style livery. I'm not sure what version it's in; I've heard zigzag and trent barton live. Eventually, there should be 5 at Derby, 1 at Langley Mill and 5 at Sutton.

Excel 235 (the first bus to carry the original trent barton livery) has been sold to Beaverbus, in Leicester

The only Excels remaining on Trent Barton's books are:

257 - Sutton
261 - Sutton
263 - Sutton
264 - Derby
265 - Derby

260 (a transfer from Langley Mill) and 255 are also on loan to Sutton to cover for 826 due to its fire.

All other excels are 'withdrawn', although some do still occasionally appear. They should all be gone by the end of the year, though that remains to be seen.

Centro 792 is expected to appear soon in unibus livery. 1184 is another Centro destined for Notts and Derby from TM Travel, it is expected to be in Notts and Derby livery.

Excel 249 has been sold to Grand Prix Coaches
Paladin 111 has been sold to Moving People
Mercedes 1138 has been sold to an Irish operator

With Trent Barton having so few Excels left, it seems that their successors in Buxton, High Peak, now have more Excels (for TransPeak) than Trent Barton still have.

True, although their numbers have diminished there also! I believe that there are three that are branded for Transpeak, 224, 231 and 232 as well as 233. A number of others have been scrapped (158, 225 and 226) and 227 has transfered to Centrebus' Leicester operation, although I have heard that it is on loan to Dove Holes at the moment. (Please note all numbers are Wellglade ones, goodness knows what their new ones are!)
