However, there are a total of 15 AE51' MANs, albeit at least three are in reserve, and two last reported at Middleton. Three 08 plate MANs have arrived so far to replace the AE51 series |

Not sure what happened but I believe one of Stagecoach Manchester's 50 branded Enviro400s was inolved in an RTC this morning with front windscreen smashed and front bumper non existant. Friend of mine saw it on Regent Road being towed back to Depot (or wherever it was going) while he was on his way to Depot on a diverted X50 to Trafford Centre |

It may have been the incessant rain fogging up my glasses in Piccadilly this afternoon but Magic Bus 19240 went past and the number on the back of the bus ''said'' 19420 not 19240.Also the 4 and the 2 looked as if they had been partially but not totally erased [were a different colour to the other 3 numbers]. |

I think there are now 10 officially in service at Hyde Road (12015/6/8-21/3-6), with 12017/22 possibly to come. I understand 12014 definately isn't coming though, despite initial reports that 13 were due. Steven Knight Media reports various changes, presumably based on the next FleetCard, but as usual its partly intentional rather than gospel. He says that the latest ex Oxford hybrids have allowed 18145/6/8 to be placed in reserve from HE. However, I understand they haven't been anywhere near HE in practice, never mind seen service. More generally, I think its half term next week, so maybe some withdrawals will take place then, but I suspect there will also be some moves with service changes the following week. 12019 was on the 256 yesterday. 19091 [reported by SKM as being at Sharston] was on the 330 yesterday. |
