I still think some of the Liverpool fans have had enough of him not playing , when he has been fit he has proved he is better than benteke , wonder what they be like in the same team , would be interesting to see . |

All Liverpool fans need to realise he can't be relied on as Plan A and we need someone in who can be Plan A (Benteke isn't proving himself good enough). Sturridge is simply a bonus to have when he is fit. That's the reality. |

I can not believe the score line of the quarter final match between Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund Liverpool won that match 4-3 on the night , 5-4 on aggregate . Liverpool where actually 0-2 and 1-3 at one stage in this fixture . This must rank alongside Istanbul 2005 as one of the best fightbacks in the clubs history. Was it the spirit of the 96 looking down from on high . |

An excellent result and a thoroughly enjoyable game of football to listen to. I'd imagine that scoring the winning goal will do wonders for Dejan Lovren's confidence who has been absolutely outstanding since Jurgen Klopp became manager IMO. I'm very, very impressed with Divock Origi too who looks extremely promising and could become a big player for Liverpool - four goals in his last three games is an excellent return - not bad for a player who was in the Ligue 1 "Worst XI" last season Liverpool have been excellent and an absolute pleasure to watch recently. Let's hope that continues |
