RE: John Terry
Terry is really the FA's blue-eyed boy so they will probably do nothing despite the fact that he admitted what he said, if they do nothing they will be the real racists and prove in fact that they have one rule for a truly vile character in Terry and another where they sat judge & jury with a foreigner like Suarez and even coached Evra into what he should say at the hearing. The FA havent got a clue what they are doing and are probably scared of upsetting Terry in the event that he pops round to their house to attempt to sort out their wives. |

Whoever does the 'fit and proper person' assessments on prospective new owners at the FA is a joke, and should be re-deployed to something they are perhaps more competent at - say checking referees pencils are sharp enough before a game? Chubby crayons then? One red one and one yellow one. |

Reminds me of a cartoon in a paper when Torres joined Chelsea and all the team are shaking his hand saying "Welcome" except Terry who said "What's your wife like?" Proves what kind of animal Terry is! Mal Madder and white; probably the best livery in the world! |

RE: John Terry
Suarez was ignorant and badly advised and misled by Dalgliesh, who was clearly past it and out of his depth. Terry - well, he is just a s**t. |

People Like Tal Ben Haim are the reason why most common people hate footballers. i will jeer him again if i ever have the misfortune to see him play |

RE: Portsmouth
I find myself siding with the players who signed contracts in good faith and now expect to be paid. While football isn't really like any other industry, that contract is nonetheless still legally binding unless the beneficiary agrees to a mutual termination. Yes, footballers are paid handsomely, some arguably too handsomely (no one could feasibly argue that Tal Ben Haim is worth anything near the reported £36,000 a week he gets), but it's a short career and they need to protect themselves and their families. They know they'll be a long time retired. |
