RE: Arriva North West - Green Lane Depot
Rode 2219 on the 27 today and it was AWFUL! Bone shuddering rattling on idle and it stank of diesel! Why they ridded of some of the better Marshalls and left busses like that in, I will never know! |

RE: Arriva North West - Green Lane Depot
Just remembered 2223 was broken down on County Road at about 5p.m yesterday. Seems to becoming an increasingly common sight lately, these sheds will be the next to go after the the marshalls and V-ENCS but will probably be at least 18 months. Barnsley can't come a moment too soon for some of them, in fact some should be sent there now. |

Mark Youdan reports on the arriva yahoo group that Renown 2720 is now repainted in interurban livery unsure if its just a repaint or full P&P? Mark spotted it at GL yesterday evening. |

Won't shed no tears when that batch of Pointer dart's Arrvia NW got in 2000 bites the dust. I actually prefer the ex-MTL Marshall's better. |

Its a tough call as they are nearly as bad as each other, seating wise the marshalls are better. Don't think I have ever really thought the the X-ANC's were really any good, even when new. |

I feel the same way about Speke's Myllennium's generally both these and the Pointers aren't that bad just getting a bit past it now and it's those rock hard seats I hate esp if they've not been P&P'd. |

The urban 90 seats don't help matters at all, they are pretty awful, I prefer the mylleniums to the darts, just think they offer a better ride and don't think they have aged quite as bad. A few of the ex LS mylleniums leave a lot to be desired internally though. |
