Birkenhead will be keeping five of the new hybrids untill the full rails complete and the rest will move on to the relevant depots.

No. 4800-23 are for Speke and 4824-50 are for Green Lane

Police have found a body on the M53 between junctions 2 & 3 around 7.15pm so Wallasey Tunnel & Upton Road over the M53 have been closed, so just seen the 118 going though Moreton Cross on diversion.

Just an update on this according to the news/travel news on local radio is that the M53 is now closed until around dinnertime while Police complete their investigations as they are led to believe an RTC has took place.

Gridlock on the diversion route which is through Moreton Cross & Upton, so delays on the 403/413/414/418/419, just seen a 403, 117 minutes late on the Arriva live map. Even delays on the 407 so expect delays on the 471/472.

Latest from the Echo site the M53 closed until early evening now saying around 5pm, Upton Road over the M53 is also closed so there's going to be havoc with all bus routes through Arrowe Park-Upton & Moreton & also have a knock on affect to the 432/433 as they interwork the 437

Wouldnt it be better for Arriva to go into emergency mode and just seperate the 432/3 from the 437 once they have enough vehicles to provide a service on both routes.
