Operators based in North East Wales
RE: Operators based in North East Wales
Any ideas why Townlynx refuse to answer? I have rung about 5-6 times today at different times of the day. Just keeps ringing and cutting off. Does anyone know when office staff are in?

Townlynx, Greenfield
As has been widely reported Townlynx took delivery of YX17NZA the first of their two new ADL 200 MMC's last Friday. It did some service on Saturday and from Monday was working its intended route of the 28/28A Flint - Mold - Wrexham. Whilst the livery is the firms standard lime green the owner is not happy that the roof has not been painted this colour and there may be a delay in receiving the second example until resolved. The first one may then return for correction.

They have now purchased a Volvo B7R / Jonckheere SF53MGO. This coach will be used on a newly won school contract and is also likely to be used on private hire. The firm may purchase further similar vehicles. - PHOTO LINK

I have a website which looks at the bus and coach operators in North East Wales. There are current fleetlists for all operators and most have a full historic fleet list.
Included are current depot fleet lists for Arriva Cymru. There are also a number of ceased opertators with historic fleet lists including the GHA Group

I saw it in quick passing on the 5 yesterday & again today, & from what I can see it's been painted the same as YJ59NMZ with the upper blue going to just below the window line.

Yes mate, it's now in the blue livery. However, I was following it in my car earlier and I can't help but think it's a bit of a bodge job, because on the roof at the front where it slopes up, where the LED screen is, the back of it is still yellow and everyone can see it!
