They're not specifically/exclusively for the 55, but merely to convert it to full decker operation

I've seen a few Pulsars on the 55 since these MMCs arrived. In truth I suspect that Bootle are putting them out on all of its routes to show them off as the shape of things to come.

I saw one on the 56 last Thursday as well.

Pulsars on the 55 don't surprise me. The usual dire allocating from this depot knows no bounds.

Has anyone else noticed that the five MMC's don't show up on the Arriva app? On several occasions I've been waiting for a bus and been surprised to see a MMC turn up at the stop without it being displayed on the app. Why is this?
