From what I've been informed is Townlynx have still got the 6 and the 40, as well as their 28/28A services.

RE: Operators based in North East Wales
Does anyone know of any changes to the times of the Flintshire buses from today. Seeing that the new timetables aren't on Traveline Cymru, nor any company websites or Council websites

RE: Operators based in North East Wales
Former Connexions Optare Solo SR YJ60KFT is now with P&O Lloyd and will be used on service 8. I also believe the times have also remained the same from Townlynx including the 9, X9 and 109.

RE: Operators based in North East Wales
Service no longer continues to Foregate Street on the 9. That was confusing almost all passengers wanting that area. Most complained about the shortened journey. Also no passengers knew about it changing to Stagecoach (well, those on Monday didnt know).

as well as not seeving Forgate Street I also believe its not serving Chester Bus Exchange (prob to save confusion with the local service 9)

They have not been removed from the CBI, they are moved to Stand K though to pick up and drop off.

A summary of recent news from North East Wales:-

Withdrawn from the fleet are K638GVX -Mercedes Benz 709D / Plaxton Beaver - M88GAS (W651SJF) Iveco EuroMidi CC80E18M/P / Indcar Maxim and TIL5081 Dennis Javelin / Berkhof Axial 35

E Jones and Sons
Joining the fleet is YN61AWV a Mercedes-Benz Vario O816D / Plaxton Chettah - C33F - new in Sept 2011 to Cropper, Guiseley who was th e last operator. Also arrived this week is SN08CNJ a Scania K340IB4 / Irizar - C70F - new in April 2008 to Doigs, Glasgow and more recently with Turbostyle, Crawley. Left the fleet is the Mercedes Benz O814D / Plaxton Cheetah EJS7A which would have been re-registered to its original number YN55KLU however it has gone to Slevin, Monilea in Ireland and will therefore get an Irish number in due course. Both Scania / Irizars C7EJS (UN02BUZ, YS02XEC) and EJS7C (YR02ZYZ, J333DTT) have been sold. It is believed that these are both going to Ireland but not to the same operator as the Cheetah.

P and O Lloyd
As has been reported two Optare Solo M890 SR's YJ60KFT [PHOTO] and YJ60KFU [PHOTO] have been purchased by the company. They were recenty with Dawson Rentals and were new in November 2010 to Harrogate Coach, Green Hammerton. They are both in dealer white but will recieve the company's livery in due course. They have been purchased to operate the newly won Flintshire contracts of the 8 Mold to Sealand Manor and the 14 Denbigh to Mold. However currently Llew Jones is still operating the 14 service but it is believed that P and O Lloyd will take it over during October.

Stagecoach
This operator has won from Townlynx the 9/X9/109 services and operates into Wrexham. (Not for the first time as they did run school services for a while in that area). For the first days of operation of the service they have used Enviro MMC's 37740/1 (SN16ORX/OSP). [PHOTO 37740] [PHOTO 37741]

I have a website which looks at the bus and coach operators in North East Wales. There are current fleetlists for all operators and most have a full historic fleet list.
Included are current depot fleet lists for Arriva Cymru. There are also a number of ceased opertators with historic fleet lists including the GHA Group
The address and a link is www.Ronsbusesandcoaches.com
