I can't believe any of this waffle, its just a tale, what can he actually make, plus he's no member of the Model Bus Federation is he?, my guess is that its just spinning, if he does make anything it will be no more than some crude looking thing that looks nothing like any bus ever seen on the road. |

I not so sure his 'models' could have been the blueprint for the New Routemaster (Borismaster) IMHO one of the worst and most costly examples of automotive design to ever hit the road yet touted by the media as the best bus since sliced bread. It's an awful passenger experience IMHO and their many design flaws seem to have been brushed aside by the Boris-loving media in much the same way they'd baulk at the prospect of using a Plaxton President or ALX400 which despite being 10 years or so older seem lightyears better and more user friendly from a passenger and probably engineering perspective too. It's also messed up the Wright and ADL designs that thing too and all these bus cuts in London and TfL's budget black hole hmm, something to do with buying a over-priced bespoke vehicle which cost £bn's when much cheaper alternatives were available?... coincidence? Not just London but everywhere else I'd sooner see a bus service running than spending the cash on gimmicks like this, imagine how many routes could've been saved if as had should have happened the bendies were kept for another 5-years rather than chucking cash away like rain on a 'New Routemaster' that wasn't needed? I think I'd sooner use a heavily loaded North Western City Plus East Lancs Dart over those awful things anyday! |

RE: London Bus Scene
It will be interesting to see what results from this. Its meant to be public consultation and there are some very high profile routes there. I note that a number of these are north/ south routes and therefore the Elizabeth line will have little if any impact on the capacity of these routes. |

The proposed changes aren't just restricted to what is mentioned in the Go Ahead note : https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/busreview |

Now that Stagecoach have taken over Tower Transit Lea Interchange and CT Plus, they are 1 of just 8 remaining TfL bus contractors. The others are Go-Ahead Arriva Metroline RATP Abellio Uno Sullivan |

RE: London Bus Scene
Go Ahead Wrightbus Streetdeck WSD21 (SN18XZR) involved in fire earlier today seems from a quick look on fleet lists it’s now withdrawn. From pictures damage looks severe, not the worst I’ve seen though. If anyone could confirm the date of this bus it would be appreciated. Thanks In Advance.
