It’s an hourly service, with a school time gap, so presumably worked around school work. Also a 50min layover at Rochdale, so imagine it must interwork with something else.

This is probably the nearest I can get to in relation to bury as I couldn't find a thread for transdev or rossendale.but just looking in the recent news the red 4 rossendale route is being chopped as it loses 300.000 a year that is some figure..if anyone can help out much appreciated

Red4 is being withdrawn, along with Blackburn Bus' Red Express X41 service from 26 January 2020. Some journeys on service 483 will be re-numbered 482 and re-routed to run to Ramsbottom and then on to Accrington via Rawtenstall, so a Rosso presence will remain in the area, while the link between Bury and Accrington is restored after the 484 was withdrawn and partly replaced by Red4 and X41.

Transdev do confirm that the Red4 is losing £300,000 per year with Diamond Bus running competing services 472/474. The X41 has dropped in usage, as passengers are using the 464 to connect with the X43 at Rawtenstall to get from Accrington to Manchester.

Also will be some changes from 5 January 2020 in Rawtenstall and Bacup with the 7 and 8 merged into one route between Burnley and Todmorden via Bacup, while Rawtenstall-Edgeside section is replaced by the 10.

Interesting addition to Rosso's fleet 1901 BV21OOW Volvo B8RLE MCV Evora, not to sure whether its another loan or a permanent addition to the fleet but its already been out on various School Services this week.

Just over a week since service changes and Rosso are in the press for all the wrong reasons.

Just to add to the story I believe a large number of contracts have been handed back to TFGM from Monday. It seems to be mainly schools but things seem to have really buckled in recent weeks at Rosso.
Been told most have gone out to other operators on emergency tenders until the end of summer term.

I see the ex Little Hotline Mercades sprinters are now working from Rochdale on there Bury Bolts services they been debranded but still in Little Hotline bace livery

Also noted Irwell Line service (481/483) has now moved from Intack to Burnley Depot a couple of weeks ago various Burnley buses been noted on the service including the ex Rosso Scania Solar and some Burnley Versa's

Also the other ex Rosso Mercades Sprinters from there burnley network have been debranded and some been repainted into Burnley Bus Company livery whilst others have transfered to York in Pride of The North or Transdev Go livery

Stratas 61-65 are the ones still at Burnley, 65 in The Burnley Bus Company livery, 61-64 remain in Ribble Country bases colours for now. 66-70 are all at York in Transdev Go livery (nothing has gained Pride of the North livery since 2018!) and 71-78 are for Keighley with 72 in use in green and the rest away for repaint.
