Arriva North West - Bootle Depot
RE: Arriva North West - Bootle Depot
Are the Bootle Centros being used as school buses sometimes? They seem to do 1/2 routes on a specific route (I.E. 60/61) and then that's it.

2618 and 4626 are on the 54 today.

Bootle's choice for todays RR1 allocation is ex-Keith Haring bus 4625 which was on the 781 (Bootle) this morning.

4425 and 4625 were on ER1 but they tracked as 781s and 4623 was on the actual 781

Yes I think the Centros are mainly just being used on dupes at the moment. Around 8 buses are doing a trip in the morning and afternoon on certain routes (mainly 60/61/62 plus other routes am and/or pm). Apparently, they are not school-specific dupes and are open to all to relieve overcrowding on the 1 bus.

Makes sense, I did encounter 2617 on the 61 on Thursday afternoon, sometimes they do seem to break away from dupes.

Well that's exciting for us all to hear, a bus using the spare ticket machine. Wow

Yeah... Maybe I can admit I was a little caught off guard when I did see the machine was actually on the move, it is rare to see them being used though, sometimes they may flash up at the depot for a short time or they appear in Crosby for an unknown reason.

An interesting allocation on the 345 today is Enviro400 4401, I wonder if it will end up on the 300 tonight, Centro 2614 is also only Bootle's only Centro that is out today also on the 345.

4423 and 4627 are on the 54.
