All the LS based pulsars have had emminox exhaust modifications to make them Euro 6 compliant last year.

Is there a rough date when these are expected?

Next year apparently. Nothing more specific beyond that at the moment

What you will find is st Helen's are getting some done under the TFGM funding to convert some pulsars with eminox system.
By reading what was published it says they are looking to convert the full service with the extra veichles they are ordering so with that I would assume the 10 and 10B which both come under the Kensington corridor quality partnership too.
Along with trailing other routes , which is most probably the other QBP's.
Work as started on preparing the area at arriva st Helen's for the hydrogen gas tank storage at the rear of the depot.

Regarding the possibility of Hydrogen buses at Laird St, it has been said that hydrogen storage tanks cannot be used in the depot due to its proximity to the electrified railway lines.

If or when further investment for birkenhead comes for zero emission vehicles I think they would more likely be fully electric ones due to the merseyrail lines so close.

RE: Liverpool's Clean Air Plan
Some big news today, Alexander Dennis have won the tender for the manufacturing of the new zero-emission hydrogen bus fleet. Subject to final approval the first of the vehicles should be delivered as soon as next year.

The rejection of the ZEBRA funding bid for the LCR alongside the £12.5 million recieved by the DfT means that they are now trying to seek at least a further £2.1m from the TCF so it can cover the refueler and modifications to the depots at St. Helens, Gillmoss, and Green Lane.

Edit: Why are trying to do modification at Green Lane? I shrugged it off initially but now I'm curious, I know we have the BYD E200EV's but is Green Lane to be used as some sort of alternative storage facility for hydrogen?
