Service 79 – Frequency increased from 28/2/22

From Monday 28th February 22, the Monday to Friday frequency of the Halewood to Liverpool service 79 will be increased to operate every 7 to 8 minutes. Journey times will also be revised to improve reliability.

change off allocation on 82 and 79

the VDL Gemini's are now the regular 79 buses again whilst the 82 should now be fully hybrid

It has been this way for around a fortnight already. Unfortunately, the appallingly rattly Gemini 3s are back on the 82 in force; can't say I missed them as the DB300s are far better buses. At least the ex-Maidstone Gemini 2 hybrids are nice.

It appears 2608 has been doing the rounds on the 81 today according to the tracker, (couldn't get to it in time to confirm myself) somewhat unusual for a Saturday.

Can we avoid posting unusual allocations which haven't been visually confirmed please? It has been stated multiple times that BusTimes is not always accurate and should not be taken as such

I can confirm 100% that 2608 is indeed out on 81s and should be out tonight on a late run in board

That really is very poor when there are so many deckers available. The sooner that Centro gets withdrawn, the better.
