RE: Rossendalebus
So with the sprinters at Rochdale doing Bury Bolts work have any of the Enviro200’s moved on? I know they always seemed to be short of midi buses and it wasn’t uncommon for larger singles or even deckers to turn up on bolts or runners services.

There are booked workings on the R series services for singles and doubles as the April 2022 changes tied in school service workings to St Cuthberts and Crompton House. Prior to April there was a morning single deck trip on B1 which bypassed Summerseat but this is now revised into the main bus workings.

738-740 were withdrawn in April joining 741 which was stood down due to engine failure a few months before. All four are stored pending disposal.

Thanks for that. Sad about 741 drove it briefly at MCT.

Are the yellow ex team Pennine Solos still in use? There seemed to be one constantly broken down in Bury at one point.

RE: Rossendalebus
If by Team Pennine you mean the ones that were originally at Elland Depot and new to Yorkshire Tiger than I think there's only 2 that remain in active service being 188 & 190 as 189 hasn't tracked since 14 November last year.

Paul Turner I guess you know whats happening at Rosso

Any sign of newer buses due for Irwall Line with Manchester Clean Air Policy

As cant see them 07 plate B7RLEs being Euro6

Sure a year or 2 they were due a upgrade noticed Burnley been using Versa's frequently on these services

The Irwell Line buses had SCRT kit fitted around 2016. These predate the certification scheme so they aren’t CAZ compliant so will be replaced in due course (1728 is already off). There’s a few options for replacements and no choice made. Versas are the planned spares.
Re the Solos. 188 and 189 are both still with Rosso at Rochdale. 189 should be back soon after some mechanical work and MOT. 167 168 190 were transferred to Burnley for contracts last summer as they weren’t Euro VI which is required for the TFGM work. 190 has been withdrawn there for a while now.

When the B7RLEs moved from Blackburn to Burnley why did one stay at Blackburn? surly that one should moved meaning Versas wouldnt be needed

Wonder if Enviro200s or Streetlites will replace B7RLEs or Versas and if the replacement buses will be branded into Irwell line or if the brand will disapear into Rosso

RE: Rossendalebus
Their already short of at least one Irwell Line bus as when the timetable was reduced to get rid of the Rawtenstall-Bury turnbacks 1726 was transferred to Keighley and is now in Keighley Bus Company livery.

Are Keighley & Idle Depots still due to have electric vehicle’s for the Bradford CAZ, this might allow the Flyer Versas to head over the Pennines for the Irwell Line

RE: Rossendalebus
it is unlikely anyone will move buses into TFGM areas now unless it is for dumping things. that don't fit into other areas. Easier to just wind down a route for next 18 months. I would just hand back TFGM Tenders or not bid for tenders.
