RE: Warrington's Own Buses
I'm wondering what's going on with 189.
Seems to have failed while working a 19 just over a week ago, then hasn't tracked since.
For the last couple of days, the tracking has it down as being out on X5 / Cat5, which I guess is not correct since that would be extremely rare.
Any info appreciated.

189, 194, 318 rumoured to be withdrawn

250, which is an ex-Lothian B7RLE Urban, has entered service along with 3 ex‐First and Metroline London Enviro 400s, these being 325 (LK08 FMP), 326 (LK08 FMU) and 327 (LK08 FMV), reports of there also being 2 ex-Stagecoach Gold Enviro400 Hybrids there too, numbers unknown

Yes seen a photo of it on Facebook credit to Ryan low. Looks like its the demo in a Warrington wrap, not sure if they've bought it or just on loan until their own arrive.

Apparently that vehicle has been used as a demonstrator, so I guess it's just that in the new Warrington livery, as the vehicles being bought should all be new ones.
That said, the wolf on the livery is hardly visible unless you know to look for it and the vehicle comes across almost just like the plain yellow livery of Manchester, like a block of travelling custard.
The current red and blue livery looks much better and more professional in my opinion.

Intentionally so.

From Gayton to Grappenhall to Greenfield will all have yellow buses

Some surprising service changes starting next week, with typically short notice:
https://www.warringtonsownbuses.co.uk/se...-july-2024

These include enhancements to the CAT7, CAT8, 11 and 12, each becoming roughly hourly throughout the day, among other changes.

With the changes to the CAT7, I can't help but wonder if funding service 10 might no longer be seen as necessary soon ...

With the many BZL single-deckers now arriving and entering service, it raises the question of when the double-deckers will start arriving and how many there will be.

It also remains to be seen if the new almost totally plain yellow livery will see off the Cheshire Cat branding too, or if they will make an exception and updated branding will be used there.
