One of the expected E400EV's for Gillmoss (or at least I'm assuming it's one of the 58), has been on demonstration to the South Yorkshire Combined Authority this weekend, and now carries a 75 plate, SN75YWL.....presume most of the 25 plates will be voided if that's the case. link below for those on Facebook.

St Helens and Laird Street are getting a whole new fleet so yes they’ll be replaced.

I do wonder if the LCRCA has managed to get any of the 100 diesel buses that they tendered for the supply of a few months back. The 'METRO' liveried E200MMC's must have been ordered with that livery for a reason.....

What buses could be expected to be used in St Helens and Laird Street?

No idea for certain, although there's a load of Wright Electroliners in build or built at Wrightbus in 'METRO' livery......I suspect Laird Street will be electrified in time for October 2026 and these will do the Cross River routes.....just my guess though. I suspect the winning bidders will be announced publicly very shortly.....

I’m really hoping St Helens gets Evoras but can see it being loads of E200MMCs & E400MMCs.

I can see Arriva selling the METRO livered MMCs.

Why would they sell them? If they win franchising depots they have buses ready and if they don’t they will sell them as part of the depot handover to LCR.
