Is the announcement regarding the St Helens franchise due tomorrow by any chance? I remember poking around that that the winning operator is informed (presumably around the 19th if I'm not mistaken!) with the announcement going public just after the new year. |

The winning bidder was informed on the 19th, then there is a 2 week process where loosing bidders can if they want, appeal the decision. Obviously we have had the Xmas period, so could be possibly next week, unless its extended. |

So maybe sometime during the week ahead from the 5th January , there would be furore if the days were shortened by Christmas. |
