I think First might have to review the Sunday timetable with the 59/180/184. Was walking up Hollins Road from Hollinwood and see the 180 on the way to Manchester running 20 minutes late. This was followed by the 184 from Huddersfield about ten minutes later with a 58/59 branded bus.

Hi All, Anyone know whats happening with the changes around the Leigh area yet, have the changes been stated on VOSA, i can't find them anywhere....

The changes have been stated on VOSA, that's how we originally found out they were forthcoming. We don't know the precise details, it has been mooted that the 26 is going, the 25 is replacing it but running via Tyldesley and Atherton instead of Astley, and the X34 is going via Boothstown.

The whole matter is ridiculous tbh.

Will the 12 be remaining to operate via Tyldesley and Atherton, but tbh it would be great to have a 15 minute frequency between Tyldesley and Leigh via Atherton direct using First, seems strange these changes when the busway is likely to be in operation in the next 3 years!
