If you mean Chester-Liverpool 2, why are they getting 10 year old buses instead of new ones like other QBP routes?

i would'nt of thought that they would stick any newer buses on them, given that First Chester and wirral are supposedly up for sale,

It was/is only a rumour anyway theyve been said theyre selling off rock ferry quite a few times, even since the 80s when it was crosville, and its still here!

Wouldnt count on it going just yet...

As has already been said, more buses are to come to Birkenhead and Chester yet to replace older olympians and scanias.

it will be interesting to see what pans out over the coming weeks, if thats the case where they will remain with first, when do you think we will see the new livery hit the streets of chester and wirral

Knowing RF and Chester, they arnt even aware that there is a new livery!!

Id imagine the livery will follow if and when newer buses arrive and if and when it is confirmed officially that chester and RF are not to be sold off (if they arnt to be sold off that is, who knows what the future might hold!)

The sale may be postponed until a decision on the rail contract is made?

That was kind of the plan, to sell some depots off and invest in rail for more profit.

Like I said, its been threatened to sell of Rock Ferry now for over 20 years, so until anything happens lets just leave it at that!

On another note, ive just done some digging around and im told a preservation group down south is in talks with First over preserving one of the former Capital Citybus P MPUs currently based at Birkenhead/Chester as they are departing for scrap shortly!

Now its just waiting to see which one!
