RE: Stagecoach North East
South Shields-based Enviro200s 36468 and 36473 (Photos @ Steven Hodgson) have followed Stockton's MAN Enviro300 24106 in having larger font front displays rather than the larger font main display and standard font lower line display. RE: Stagecoach North East
That means on the Hanover software program, once you create a blind, you have to 'drop' it from normal font to 'super x' font which allows the scrolling. When it has been 'dropped', the user has told the system to fix the font size on both top and bottom lines rather than allow the program to use the 'standard' super x font on the bottom line. To be honest, this is quite easy to do in error as it is only a tick box. |

To be honest, this is quite easy to do in error as it is only a tick box. The one thing is, 24106 was showing the scrolling line for a while with the 'super x' font (one of only three of the batch with the normal font/'super x' font layout, the other 12 have their displays programmed with 'super x' font for both lines) and then all of a sudden one day this happen. So, something has happened when the driver changed the display. Your roving North East reporter, bring you the latest news from Arriva North East, Stagcoach North East and Go North East.

The only thing that could have happened to change the way the text is displayed is that the destinations have been re-programmed as all of what I was saying is done on a pc and then uploaded via a memory stick to the vehicles. |

Just hightlighting the first ones to get them. Hartlepool Darts 34567 and 34606 have the Hartlepool versions as well as 'Mega Value...' as well, the first ones from that depot to have them. Just to show how they look, here is The Teesside 'Daytripper' advert and The 'Megarider' one.
