RE: Halton Transport
Do Halton have any plans to buy any other vehicles? I think they should purchase Warringtons outgoing Darts....still in outstanding condition!

Would be a decent purchase actually! Unlikely though!
Seen 72 before on the 17, passed me on the 14 to Liverpool before just leaving Hough Green before, and was followed around 15 minutes later by Haltons tow truck! An ominous sign that its broke down if ever theres one to be had. Was only thinking yesterday that I hadn't sen it in a while!

72 also operated the morning 696 school service today, certainly spread it's wings a bit today!

An illustration of the volume of schools services operated by Halton at 14:30 this afternoon there were 23 buses in Caldwell Road yard, by 14:45 all but one had departed. By 16:45 the number was 24.

As observed from my office window! Confused

Haha! Yeah, I often see the same during college, amazing how the yard is empty when I arrive at 9am, and I spend my first half an hour or so of college listening to constant revving engines followed by reverse horns then silence! Rather interesting to observe!
