Cheers Garsty, the first vehicles to have the new fleetnumbers added and Stagecoach logos, history is made on Sunday all for the better I hope of course or I will regret saying that. LOL

Pictures can be found in this set here:

Some are not great due to the horrible weather and lighting conditions, but I could not pass up on this opportunity. Also First 39933 and 39939 were parked outside due to there being two Bluebirds inside at a time receiving the new logos etc.

I will also say that the Stagecoach person I spoke too was very nice, so I good first impression on me!

Better pictures will be acquired over the next few days.

RE: First Chester & Wirral
I note from the 1st edition of "Keeping you in the loop" that Stagecoach won't be accepting other operators' monthly passes on the Quality Partnership (QP) routes & have informed Merseytravel of this.

Whilst this brings the Wirral QP routes into line with ticketing agreements on the other Merseytravel QP routes, I can't see Arriva being too happy about this as for anyone who holds one of their monthly passes, they've now only got a service on routes 1/2 every 40 minutes?

Monthly passes aren't accepted by Stagecoach/Arriva on any of their (Stagecoach/Arriva) Merseyside QBP network anyway, only day and weekly ones!
