The 383/384 have been getting a lot more tridents on the route and now never turn up on time, anybody know why? Also it's not because of traffic because the route cuts away from it half the time.

Perhaps but it shouldn't really be the sole reason the 08:16 from the bus station ends up being the 08:41

Yeah, I suppose I mean it's not as if they're as fast as half the drivers on the 330 xD

I would have thought that those bids would have been submitted prior to the Stagecoach acquisition first being mooted.

I doubt Stagecoach will have had any influence on prices for these tenders as the green light was only given for the sale last month. Plus I would have thought Stagecoach would rather focus on the commercial services first then go for tenders in what is effectively a new operating area.

Perhaps not the right thread but I noticed a MCT minibus with about 5 drivers on following Bluebirds 396 out of Ashton bus station yesterday afternoon. The drivers looked to be making notes so I presume their route learning - although it's a little bit early.

Will all the bluebird services be run by Greengate next week or could we see other Stagecoach depots running some services. For example the 395/6 would seem better located for AZ to run.
