Arriva London Gemini 1s for the North West???
this is something i have heard said loads over the last 9 or so month yet i have seen no sign of them coming so it leaves me asking are the defo coming or not?

A quick Flickr search ("Arriva London Trident") has revealed that there are plenty of Tridents, albeit Enviro400s which are probably going to live in London for a few more years (going by common sense)! If I'm correct, the rest of Arriva London's 'deckers are DAF/ALX400s and Volvo/ALX400s (EDIT - and, of course, Volvo/Geminis and VDL/Gemini 2s).

There are a 6 DLAs on there ways to you ... will confirm umbers when I get back home ... plus some W-reg ALX200 Darts ... not sure what you are going to do with them.

VLW21-49 are due for withdrawal in the next 2-3 months and have homes within Arriva allocated ... but where exactly I have no idea

I should reiterate - again another post that never got through ... I misread the title of this thread, the DLAs and ALX200 Darts are for the North East not North West.

There are plenty of deckers coming out of London over the next few month DLAs, VLW21-49 and DLPs both Euro2 and Euro3. Euro3 Dafs are monsters so Euro3 DLPs would be my vehicle of choice of choice, although as these normally operate in North London, I have never riden them and have heard comments from a few of poor quality seating.

In the South we have Euro3 DLAs and DWs and will be sorry when they decide the time is up for these vehicles to leave.

Midlands, North East and the Shires are currently taking DLAs ... so guessing the Geminis will be for a different subsiduary

if you get hold of any more information that would be great mate, glad the ALX 200's are not for us tho as i hate most of the ones currently here

I wonder whether VLW21-49 could come to the North West, releasing DLAs to the North East and Midlands?
