I think the 12 is Rhyl's busiest route in terms of passenger numbers and profitability, however with the frequency being every 10-12 minutes during the day, does it justify double-decker use for the full peak vehicle requirement (PVR). Question here Conbus is the route busy in the winter as well at that time of day because I suspect a lot of passengers are tourists. The 2002 Bus Blog is about Transport in the North West of England and North Wales however we do venture further afield on some occasions - why not check out our latest content on our Website

I was on a pulsar and it was packed bearing in mind that was 21:30 at night to be honest most of the buses are packed winter/summer at that time. The holiday makers have been using the 1 a lot more this year. tbh i think they should operate the 1 in the winter. I was speaking to one of the rhyl drivers and it has made +55% more profit than last year |

Im not doubting you about the Summer , but after the Half Term break in the autumn ridership will almost certaintly drop off as the caravan parks start the closing down process for the dark winter months , before reopening for the Half Term and then Easter. |

I was using the 12 a few weeks back on a sunday, where the frequency is supposed to be 20 minutes, But there were a few extra buses running throughout the day, loadings were in large amounts! |
