Enviro400 spotted on 38 this afternoon packed full of school kids after a solar on 38 broke down west kirby bound on meols bridge.

The branding has just been removed on most of them, they will be repainted overtime. PX04 DOU has been repainted however was taken away on a tow truck this evening, presumably to have some work done on it as was rather smokey the other day.

I believe that 3 of them have been painted now, i think anyway..

Recently, I've noticed that the Chester park & ride services can yield pretty much any vehicle. At least one of the vehicles previously painted in the dedicated P&R livery has been painted into standard colours & today I noticed a Dart on the 32.

Now whilst I didn't have much time for First when they were in charge, they could at least keep the P&R service running with dedicated vehicles & it was unusual to see anything else on those duties. It seems to have become a free for all in the last six months or so.

Does the contract with Cheshire West specify that the vehicles used on P&R services should be the branded vehicles?

Trident LX51 FML is parked in Rock Ferry having arrived on the back of a tow truck this afternoon.

The Volvo B7 worked the 38 as mentioned. I expect that this will be a regular feature on the weekday afternoon due to many schools using the 38 at about 3:30pm. The Enviro200's are to small to cope with the sheer volume of kids. Ive also seen a few scanias and even an Enviro400 in the afternoon on this route
