Breaking down at the alighting only stand causes a lot less problems than if it had broke down on the other side.

I knew it was only a matter of time before one broke down! The majority sound so unhealthy!

Not living in the area but I wonder whether any of Haltons services have been affected by the incident on Runcorn Widnes bridge today, apparently its still ongoing from 11:50 this morning, good job this wasn't a weekday else it would have been gridlock in the area

Halton don't operate any services across the bridge on Sundays as the 62/A is Mon-Sat, and the hourly 61 runs only to Widnes.

I've heard there was incident of someone scaling/ planning to jumpoff the bridge, but the bridge was also kept closed for "high winds"

You will see a few vehicles on the 27.
The first trip today (0711 from Weates Close) was done by #36, which then went on to 61's I think.
But Solo #59 was on there for most of the time.

I'm not a fan of the 27(A) arrangements.
I'd prefer the 26(A) to cover the part of the route particular to the 27A, with the 27 being half-hourly.
Much time seems to be being lost in the afternoon peak on this route, and the extra mileage the 27A requires doesn't seem to be helping.
Though I do admit that I am not a regular in those parts so I might just have had bad luck so far.

A bit of trivia in that an enviro200 with "Widnes 14F" on the front will display "14F Liverpool" on the side.

It's a funny one that, I have noticed it myself.

Just want to point out that 32 appears to have recived route branding for the 62/62a. Didn't get a good look at it but it is quite small but as much as routw branding can be criticized as unprofessinal, it is actually quite a nice touch. Dont know if any other busses have it, but if there is I would imagine it to be the other Marshall Capitals with LEDs. So next time you see 32, make sure you look at the first nearside window.
