Nothing really unusual Andy, the 10/10A does get the odd cadet/dart/SR on there these days. Not the first time 2419 has been on there either.

Once there on the road they have been told that they can be used on any service in between school duties and even on the 10/10A if short on buses.

What a waist they should be used for public service

The school contract probably stipulates a certain amount of seats and none of the single deckers has that amount of seating accomodation.

Be thankful that Arriva will allow the vehicles to be used if short between school work , there is always the passing risk of the vehicles failing in service between school work with the resulting chaos that will cause .

One of the school contract stipulates it requires a decker which is de la salle and rainhill high,so because the DLA's are becoming old and quite problamatic they are getting replaced while there is slightly newer stock available coming out of london.

Same with the DLA's as well I guess

Will the gold Pulsar be making visits in Public use at All Depots like the decker in Yorkshire

It's not the same with the DLAs. They shouldn't be seeing any public service as far as is possible.

Regarding the Pulsar, read back through the thread; nobody's sure at the moment. I suspect it could be though having read a linked Investor's in People article from the Arriva Facebook page. Bit of a shame for St Helens to be a Pulsar down if it does so.

Who says that they will be a pulsar down though, they might get one on loan from the depot that has 3047 for that time, unless of course it goes to Speke when they may get something else with Speke not having their own pulsars.

With Arriva Yorkshire, they sent another pulsar 2 with promotional all over advert for arriva (1407?) to the depot which was missing the gemini.
