RE: First Manchester
Interesting working tonight saw 69567 out on 343 Oldham-Mosley, first time I think one of Oldham's new B7s has seen service |

RE: First Manchester
First feeling pleased with themselves after reporting an 8% increase in passenger numbers (approx. 150,000 more journeys per week) following the drop in prices back in April. Also being reported by First that free WiFi will be fitted to all vehicles next year to add to the Enviro300s, while GPS trackers will also be installed for use for depots to monitor services and for passengers to find out where their next bus is via the FirstBus app. http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/greater_...791&conf=0 |

A fire at Wing Yip meant that a small part of Oldham Road was closed causing 83/180/184 etc. to be diverted down Rochdale Road. These services alongside 17/18/163 produced a large convoy. |

Disruption to services 8, 12, 25, 26, 36 and 37 around Irlams o'th' Heights this evening and possibly tomorrow due to a man being knocked off his moped and hit by another vehicle. Buses having to run along the A6 instead of via Bolton Road. http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/greater_...951&conf=1 http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/n...th-6348481 |

RE: First Manchester
Surprise working on 484 for a trip yesterday morning saw one of Bolton Depots B9s on there covering for a vehicle breakdown. Also while I was in Bolton Depot last night with a friend of mine we noticed Solo 40323 parked up outside the workshops obviously waiting on MOT work Also not sure which ones but a number of Wrights Scanias were parked up with front ends missing off them, also not sure how true this is but was told that a number of Streetlites are disappearing each week from Bolton Depot, not to sure where to though |
