Not too well used which I suppose is one of the reasons why it is being rerouted, I've found that only a small number of people get on in haskayne and Shirdley hill if any at all. According to the arriva Southport page another reason why it is being rerouted is because of the tight roads in the area.

The 47 will increase frequency to every 20 minutes Mon-Sat and will be every 30 mins on a Sunday. Serving the main A565 only from Crossens to Formby, missing out its current Aughton Road divert. I've attached a link to the new timetable below.

It will also miss out Aughton Road/St Johns Road and use the main road. Obviously commercial reasons behind it, but a further blow for passengers with the 300 soon to evade Sherdley Hill and Haskayne as well.

When is the 300 route change taking place? Thanks.

All of this type of information is publically available.
You might find this part of the Merseytravel website a good starting place:

The change to the 300 is shown as being from 15th June.

They all have to be de-branded don't they due to the changes, wonder if a re-branding is forthcoming.

Some of Cumfybus 09 reg solos still have Fylde Villager branding on them despite them coming off this service months ago woould have thought it would be a legal requirement to remove branding if the service it was for is no longer operated?

Off topic and could be wrong but aren't some of these 'Flyde Villager' Solo's running on the Wirral Joblink services? Sure I saw one in Birkenhead earlier this year?
