Route 38 (Soon to be 38/38A after 15th June) will see busses running much later into the night, 7 days a week as of 29th June. Do you think this is permanent or something to do with a certain event in Hoylake soon whereby some men hit a ball with metal sticks and loads of people watch them??

This is a result of some up coming changes i think that may be happening to the Avon 86 and 87 , there was a footnote on the 38/38A timetable that extra services may operate from the 29th June on the 15th June's timetable .

Is there any double deckers out on the service 2 today , with various events on at both end of the route both in Chester and Liverpool I would have thought there was a demand . I know whenever Chester races was on previously Arriva would try there best to get a double decker on the route to Chester.
