personally I think there should be some changes to rhyl

11F withdrawn
11G operates two sunday journeys
11X to operate every hour
X11 new route from chester to holywell every hour via sealand to connect with 11X

12B to serve llysfaen

35 to serve prestatyn nova and pontins
36 same as 35

45 new route between rhyl and boddelwyddn

51 to operate every 30 mins
52 new route from rhyl to ruthin every 60 mins
Bus companies need to make money on every route, currently in Rhyl routes make money, it's not broke so not going to try and fix it.

An express route to Chester has been looked at over the years and to be honest it's just not needed, neither is more journeys on Sundays.

The 12B is payed to go via Bryn y bia, once you start introducing more parts to an already long enough route passengers start lookin for quicker alternatives.

The 35/36 again aren't broke and are good services.

The 45 currently operated under contract, no point whatsoever to start a commercial service.

Why would we reduce the 51 service? We operated the 150 Denbigh to Corwen that went via Ruthin and it simply didn't pay.

Ideas for services are all well and good but in this day and age they have to be commercially viable, and you need to have some knowledge of running bus services. More and more routes supported by local authorities are being axed regardless of passenger use and looked at more as how much it costs to subsidise, the 34 will be axed by Denbighshire from the 27th July. It's not good business to start new services that two or three people might use, nor wise to start running services in the hope of subsidies to be given.

I may have misread this but the article is here:

The little girl will be travelling on top of an arriva bus but the bus as been provided but its a french bus/coach that will be painted up into arriva colours as its currently in st helens depot paintshop as the reg is "BM 640 JB".

No, 2253 is still to leave for Chester once it has a new MOT. All other buses have left. The Pulsars will start to be refurbished very soon with one leaving for St Helens this week.

Total refurb for all seven pulsars, 5 branded for Denbigh and two generic as spares. Leather seating and Wi Fi

The 12 is already a long enough route, it won't be extended to Conwy.

Yes, 4142 is still at the depot but is scraped awaiting collection.
