i did get told 10 07 reg buses from Oldham but i looked at fleet list and Oldham do not have any 07 buses what they could do with is newer darts something like Halifaxs 42181 batch etc

there are only 3 P-LNDS left in service at Pioneer 40001/40337/40341

last time Oldham did the Oldham part of the 350 they would not go on Hey farm est on the way to Oldham and if you asked the driver to let you of sometimes you would get a mouthful of abuse when Dukinfield took over they where told they had to go on the right route and since then had no trouble

been on 40403 today sounding better now 31952 still in Tameside

On Monday 9 July after 3pm 60 buses destined for the Olympics (on loan from translink) will be stored at Wigan and will all leave on Tuesday 10 july!


I reckon that Bury Depot will close and work will be transferred to Bolton who will then pass work onto Wigan! There is a meeting at Bury depot on Tuesday to discuss the recent depot closure speculation!

Can we stop posting rumors on here, Bury Depot isn't closing it will relocate, if any garge would go it would be Wigan. I'm sure the unnamed people who work at Bury Depot as drivers and mechanics would know more than idle rumor spreading. Bury is an important part of the first network, working services not just in Bury but Rochdale as well.

THESE ARE PEOPLES LIVELY HOODS AND FIRST DOES WELL OUT OF BURY WHICH ISN'T THE CASE FOR WIGAN.

Just to add, it's been noted first want to leve Burys present site, but not out of Bury.


Depot closures mean job losses mo often than not, and I just think its wrong to discuss it, like that

I agree, I know someone who works at Bury Depot,and I don't want speculation on here it's not fair
