Is it possible Arriva North West did this to up their value?

Why would it be to up the value, as far as I know they went for scrap so doing seats and floor wouldn't really matter.

I see, I was of the understanding they were withdrawn and sold on, my apologies.

Basically, they wasted time and money refurbishing them, only to withdraw them a relatively short time later, you have to wonder what was the point.

Fair enough. Some of Arriva North East's Prestiges hadn't been repainted since new up until their withdrawal, I was told. Did look horrid inside, but sounded fantastic.

But Prestiges are my personal favourites - I would have bought both. Big Grin

Nice to have someone on the same page as me lol. On another forum I'm on everyone hates the DAFs...:P

Hmm, I think these may have been numbered 21101 - 21105 or something like that. I'll ask about. Smile

I don't know Andy but would have thought that they would only move after the full fleet of deckers start service on Sunday.
