Latest arrival is T2ETT a MB Sprinter 413CDI / U.V.G. - B8FL- new in June 2001 to Municipal Hire Service, Shirehampton – with London Borough of Havering (10/2001) – with Bankfoot Taxis, Kingston Park where the seating changed from DP16FL to DP8L then to Trett, Ponteland (1/2006) - it appears it has been purchased to be repaired and to join the fleet at Winsford for the special education contract.

YN53SWF - Solo - has now been given the Bryn Melyn livery and is about to enter service – PHOTO

Solo - YJ54BUW – which joined the fleet from Harrogate Coaches in September has now been given the fleet - GHA (low floor) livery - PHOTO

BA08GHA - the Solo which has spent most of its time on the Ruthin to Mold corridor with vinyls depicting Ruthin and the Vale fo Clwyd has now been given the GHA (low floor) livery. Today it worked the 2V Cefn Mawr service as a last minute replacement - PHOTO

V670DAO - a Mercedes Benz 614D / Autobus Classique) has been with GHA since March 2014 being refurbished and has been given the GHA (silver) livery - PHOTO

A number of vehicles which have been donating parts for some time have finally been scrapped and have left:-

IIL3506 (Volvo B10M / VH)

VX51RBO (Dennis Dart / Alexander ALX200) -this bus was involved in RTC in Elton in June 2013

P804NJN (Dennis Dart / Alexander ALX200)


A number of vehicles have been withdrawn:-

A548HAC (Leyland Olympian / ECW) – this is the last ECW bodied vehicle with GHA and has been in the fleet for over 14 years and was previously new in 1983 with Midland Red South (908) [later Stagecoach Red and White]

R817OYS (Dennis Dart / Marshall) –
L408NUA (Vo B10M / Wright) following fire damage

In addition R32GNW (Bryn Melyn) (DAF /NC) has also suffered fire damage and is likely to be withdrawn.


I also have been informed that the Vale fleet will start to merge into the GHA Coaches fleet and most will get GHA liveries. This process has started with the midi coaches which have had slightly revised vinyls and CA05GHA which has had new GHA livery. It is believed that Solo YJ60KBN will be next to receive GHA livery. This process is likely to take place over a period of time.

Just noticed today that the GHA website has been completely re-designed, also been designed for mobiles as well! Now has a very professional look and is very smart!

The Traws Cymru branded Scania YR14 HLU operated the X50/X52 today, also word is going round that Volvo B10BLE R234 HCD has been re trimmed and painted into X50/X52 livery, replacing UYM 551 as a spare!!!
