RE: Arriva North West - Green Lane Depot
There appears to be a on going police incident involving the 7 this evening on South Lane in between Cronton and Warrington. The bus was surrounded by blue light vehicles and the road was closed, unsure if it had crashed or if the bus was properly involved. |

2345 now parked at the front of the depot obviously with Nfs in the window, wonder what they plan to do with it. |

Yeah it was parked at the front of the depot a couple of weeks ago as well. It will be interesting to see what the future has in store for it (11/12/2015 19:08)RedPanda Wrote: How has it survived so long in the North West and Wales fleet? Its about a year now isn't it since Green Lane withdrew its last saw another V reg dart It was withdrawn in May (it was the last Dart in service at Green Lane) so only about six months ago. The reason it has lasted so long is because Green Lane depot was short of vehicles at the time (early January) and the recently withdrawn 2345 had nearly a year remaining on its MoT. It was reinstated and mainly used on the 68 because of its age and lower capacity compared to the rest of the fleet at Green Lane at the time. For me 2345 was the best Dart Green Lane has ever operated - second only to 7537 2345 was used as this year's "battle bus" as well |

It would say that it is definitely unusual when there's three Arriva double deckers on the 14 all at the same time. Even on Saturdays (the Saturday timetable was in operation today) I've personally never seen more than two Enviro400s on there all at the same time. The only days there are more is on a Sunday or Bank Holiday when there are more spare deckers available for other Green Lane routes |
